The "Daily Times" slates that about sixty senior cadets will leave Tailmpo for Wanganui by the early train 011 Monday in connection with the visit to that port of the battleship New Zealand. As illustrating tho possibilities of tho Taihape district for stock-raising, ono dealar alono (Mr. •Toscpti "Webb) has dispatched during the past season closo upon 40,000 sheep and 700 head of cattle. Most of these have gouo to Wellington lor export as frozen meat. At Wednesday night's parado of tho Senior Cadets, tho following wero drafted into the Territorials:—H. Walker, B. Chamberlain, J. Niven, C. Wrightson, 11. P. Martini, C. Scherf, and H. Williscroft. Cadet S. Duff has been transferred to the mounted infantry.
