[Hpeoially Written for Tub Dominion.] THURSDAY. Brown onion soup. Boiled shoulder of mutton. Potatoes. Carrots. Parsnips. Applo pudding. BROWN ONION SOUP. Two pounds onions, 2oz. dripping or butter, 2 potatoes, ljoz. brown tliickoning (browned Hour), pepper and salt, 8 pints warm stock. Poet tho onions, slico through, fry in tho dripping till brown, but bo careful they do not burn. Cut tho potatoes into dico, tvnd add to tho dripping and onion. Add the stock and seasoning. Put on tho lid of the saucepan and sinimor till tonder. Add tlio tliickoning, stir till tho soup boils, cook for a few minutes longor, and then servo. FOB TO-MORROW. Liquor mutton was boiled in. Cold cooked fish. Cold mashed potatoes. Pears or quinces for stewing. Defiance Butter. All Grocers"
