The following is tho pi-ogramme for the first night's contests for the amateur championships, which are being held on Tuesday and Wednesday next:—Bantams: B. Andrews v. G. Nicholl; feathers: B. Tracey v. J. Smith; light: A. Leary v. J. Macfariane; welter: F. Flan v. T. Smallridge; heavy': P. Gordon v. W. H. Eussell; bantam: H. M'Gregor v. H. W. Brice; feather: F. Leary v. J. Ifarews;' light: J. Hunter v. E. Aitken; welter: D. Ryder v. D. A. Colo; heavy: P. Barkly v. A. Hall. Mr. T. Sampson will bo tho referee. Tho Bush Boxing Association announces that tho middle-weight championship of New Zealand between Barney Ireland (Waipawa) and Tom M'Grath ■ (Sydney) will be contested at tho Drill Hall, Pahiatua to-morrow. There will also bo foiir amateur bouts.
