It is feared that the lien- Ministry will be less favourably disposed towards an amicable settlement with Servia. WAR TALK IN THE FIELD. SERVIAN GENERAL'S THREAT. (Reo. Juno 8, 5.5 p.m.) Salonika, June 7. General Putnik informed General SavofT, the Bulgarian commander, that he will meet any new advance by the Bulgarians with the entire Servian army. Tho Bulgarian Eighth Division has moved northward to oppose the Servian concentration. . The strength of the Servian and Greek forces in Macedonia is estimated at 370,000. "DEMOBILISE IMMEDIATELY. 1 ' A PEREMPTORY DEMAND. (Rec. Juine 8, 5.5 p.m.) Constantinople, June 7. The Powers have collectively demanded Turkey and the Balkan Allies to demobilise immediately. (Rec. Juno 8, 5.5 p.m.) St. Petersburg June 7. The Russian Government has informed Bulgaria and Servia that in the event of war between the two States Russia will saddle the responsibility upon whichever combatant refuses to exhaust the resources of diplomacy. Russia will not remain an. indifferent spectator to an internecine struggle. There, must be somo modification of the Serbo-Bulgarian treaty, and if they (the States concerned) arc not able to decide upon somo modification, Russia is prepared to do so. LAW OR EQUITY? (Rec. June 8, 5.5 p.m.) Vienna, June 7. Southern Slav circles consider that if the. law -under the proposed treaty is on Bulgaria's side, there is also equity on Servia's side.
