Ono shift .of the tramway employees, by a vote of 93 to 21), .approved of the Tramway Company's proposals for a new agreement providing increased pay, and an improvement of working conditions, but the meeting of tho second shift ended in a stormy scone, tliero being considerable difference of opinion in regard to.the proposals submitted. The president of the union was unable to control the meeting, and declared it closed, stating that under tho circumstances tho vote of tho morning meeting adopting tho company's proposals would be accepted by tho union.
