UPROAR AT A MEETING. (By Telecrapli.—Press Aesociation.l Auckland, Juno 6. Negotiations have boon going on fof several months between tlio Tramway Company and theuuion for a new agreement. A new basis of agreement was approved by a meeting of night-shift men tins morning, involving all-round rises of id. per hour in the caso of motormen. conductors, and car-clianers, and several other increases of from Jd. to Id. per hour in other departments. Improveinoiu'9 in working hours and general conditions were also embodied. This was passed tills morning bv S3 votes to 29, A meeting of the morning shift, held tonight, was of different temper. Considerable uproar took place during tho discussion on tho •agreement, and several heated passages took place. Eventually jK jhairnian_ loft the chair, declaring tnat tho morning meeting represented tho feeling of tho union. Tho decision is likely to bo contested. ,
