FIRE AT A JEWELLER'S.
(By Tolegraph.—Press Association.) Dunedin, June 5. A 'double firo occurred on the premises of Lambert and Co., jewellers, Princes Streot. Tho first outbreak .was promptly suppressed at 2.30 time " morning, bfit broke out afresh in tho upper portion of tho promises, which woro gutted. These woro occupied by Stenhouse, confectioner. Lambert and Co., whose stock was much damaged by water, were insured in the Standard for ,£l9O. The premises were owned by Mrs. Lake and Mis 3 Mitchell, nnd woro insural for £520- in tho New Zealand Company. Stonhouse's stock and 1 fixtures wcro insured for .£250 in the Phoenix Company, and .£2.5 in tho New Zealand office.
