SUGGESTED ABOLITION OF THE TITLE. By Telegraph—Pross Association—Copyright (Rec. June 5, 0.20 a.m.) London, June 4. ' There is much discussion on the subject of the P<x>t Laureateship. Some of the newspapers suggest its abolition. The claims of Bridges, Watson, Newbolt, Noyes, and Masefield have been discussed. The majority favour Kipling. The late Sir Alfred Austin will be cremated on' Thursday.
