The Northern Union game Hawke's Bay v. Wanganui was played hero to-day in favouifal&'o weafiher [conditions, in tho presence of a largo 'crowd of spectators. Tho gaino was • fast and open, but the combination of the Hawke's Bay back division was better than that of the visitors, although thero was little to chooso between the forward divisions. In tho first spell Hawke's Bay led by G points to 3, but towards the close of tho game the home team held the.upper hand,, and the final scores wero: Hawke's Bay, 23; Wanganui, G.
