<, AND EARTH TREMORS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. May 30, 9.35 p.m.) Melbourne, May 30. There was a short, sharp shock of earthquake this morning. Preliminary tremors occurred at. 8.35 a.m., reaching a maximum at 8.37 a.m. All. the disturbances had ceased by B.IG a.m.
