. COMPULSORY TRAINING PROTEST. SYMPATHY FOR ANTI-MILITARISTS. By Telegraph—Prces Association—Copyright (Rec. May 30, 11.20 p.m.) London, May 30. The Society of Friends, at the annual meeting, discussed the compulsory training system in Australia. The conviction was expressed that tho opposition to such military,training must be strenuously maintained. The Friends deeply sympathised with co-religionists who were suffering im-' prisonments, fines, and civio disabilities owing to their unwillingness to submit to the military regulations.
