London, May 29. Mr. Watt gave a banquet to Mr. M'Bride, yictorian Minister for Mines, at tho Hotel Cecil. The guests numbered 180. ■ They included the Agents-General, Captain Collins, Sir Charles Lucas, Mr. D. Mackinnon, and leading city men. Mr. C. E. Hobliouse, Under-Secretary for . India, proposed "The Dominions." Sir Gcorgo Reid, Mr. Pcako (Promier of South Australia), and Sir Samuel Griffith replied. \ Mr. Baillieu (M.L.C., Victoria) proposed the health of Mr. Watt.
