ANTARCTIC PICTURES.
CAPTAIN SCOTT'S RECORDS. London, Ifay 20. London papers are publishing photographs taken by Captain- Scott ami by the rescue party which discovered his body. Tho picture of the tent in which Scott, Wilson, and Bowers were found shows that only a yard. of the tent remained above the surface of tho snow. Other pictures show tho cairn surmounted by a cross, which was ertcted over tho tent wliere the bodies wore found, and also a photograph taken by one of Scott's party 'of Amundsen's tent at the South Pole—Sydney "Sun."
Anthrax caused the death of a Bermoudsey woman, and it was contracted, a. doctor suggested, from the clothes of her husband, a London dock labourer, who handled foreign hides. Hop-growers in Kent are complaining of the shortage of labour, the young men of tlio villages, they say, having migrated or emigrated, chiefly the latter,
