I COMMONWEALTH BANK CHARGES. I The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is . adopting a scheme for overdraft charges, . which is believed to l>o unique so far as ; Australia is concerned. It i& making a 1 .Jlat charge of 6 per cent., which i 3 only > varied in favour of charities, which get \ w.hat accommodation they require at 5 per j. cent. Tho ordinary, banks vary their ratea according to the amount of the loan, and, possibly, tho security submitted, between and 7 per cent.
