$ Mr. Joseph M'Oabe is to deliver a scries of lectures at the Town TTrtll Concert Chamber, beginning on Jlondav next. Jlr. M'Cabe, who lias a reputation in England ami elsewhere, in his triple capacities of writer, lecturer, and orator, is said to possess the pift of presenting the results of modern scientific research to the public in n fascinating form, and the choice of subjects which are to conipruse his Wellington season aro full nf interest and variety, Those are "The Story of Life on the Earth," a comprehensive survey of the evolution of this planet; "The End of the World," "The Evolution of Man," and "Life in other Worlds." The various lectures will bo illustrated by a series of lantern slides. The plan is nt the Dresden.
