Sydney, May 29. The Hon. J. H. Cann, Colonial Treasurer of New South Wales, announces that he'has authorised the State Agent-General in London to accept, if he thinks it advisable, .£700,000 upon Treasury bills, for twelve months, at 42 per centum. (Rec. May 29, 11.20 p.m.) London, May 29. South Australia is placing £500,000 worth of Treasury bills, with a one-year currency, on the market, on a basis of per centum.
