SUPERA>— CATION TO BE CO. SI DERELV The following notices of motion will bo considered by the City Council at tomorrow evening's meeting:—
Councillor Trcgear to mo\. : "That tho resolutions passed by the council on May 7, purporting to sot up a Tramways Committee, an .Abattoirs and Public Health Committee, and a Public Gardens, Reserves, and Baths Committco 1,0 rescinded."
Councillor Tregear to move: "That resolutions passed on Hay 15 confirming tho minutes of the council meeting held on the 7t.li instant, bo rescinded, and the minutes amended."
Councillor Fuller to move: "That tho council appoint an additional commissioner for all tho Wellington City Corporation sinking funds, and that tho Mayor Ik> appointed as such additional commissioner."
Councillor Fletcher to move: "That it is desirable that a scheme of superannuation for the employees of tlie corporation be established 011 tho lines of the Local Authorities Superannuation Act, I9OS, and Amendments (1912), and that with this end in view the council hereby resolves to obtain as soon as possible an actuarial report on the whole question, showing what. respective contributions from tho corporation and the employees arc necessary to afford reasonablo benefits ,to the contributors as well as to make tho scheme financially sound."
Councillor M'Kenzio to movo: "That the council ask for an annual return of sinking fund investments, showing rate of interest, expiry date of principal, and nature of investments, and that the first return bo supplied immediately.
