KARORI COUNCIL.
Tho Karori Borough Council met last night. The Mayor (Mr. C. Cathie) presided, and there wore present also Councillors B. G. N. Burn, W. flradnock, L. Davie', .1. W. Henderson, A. Hamilton, T. I!. Boyes, W. Skcgg, and C. Cimnio. ■ In reply to a letter from the council, asking if early would be >nado with Ihc water and drainage lor part ot Karori, as provided by the Act pass, d during the last session of Parliament, the town clerk of \\ ellington wrote that the citv engineer reported that he was unable'to say when. he could undertake the necessary work preliminary to the Tn.ising of tho loan, but he woqld do so as soon as possible. It was decided to issue concession tickets for children betwor-n tho ages ot 3 years and 12 years for any distance on the Karori line, at tho price of Is. for 12 rides,' the ticket to bo transferable.
