_4 . MUEDEROUS ATTACK ON A "RANCH. San Francisco, J/ay 10. A terrible tragedy has been perpetrated on the ranch of H. A. Wellington, threo miles from Dixon, Montana. .Wellington's body was found riddled with, bullets. His wife is badly wounded. and is not expected to live. A young boy and tho cook employed 011 the ranch aro in a serious condition.
'A man named Stansky attacked the family with a revolver, and, after killing the boss pf the ranch outright, and' wounding tho others, he turned the weapon on himself iind committed suicide. The news of the tragedy was brought by Mrs. Dixon, who crawled three-quarters of a mile to tho nearest neighbour. The unfortunate woman was nearly dead from loss of blood. : There were i'our bullet wounds in her body, and her hands wcro shot There was a bullet wcund in hor chest and another in her neck. Mrs. Dixon collapsed after she lad told hor, story.—Sydney "Sun."
