THE GROWTH OF WOOL. AN OTAGO MAN'S CLAIM. Sir,—l tako tlio liberty of writing roil in connection with a subject of supremo importanco, not only to this Dominion, hut to tho wool-growing world. As a wool specialist, I havo for some time devoted myself to research and scientific work in one special direction, tirao and again conducting practical experiments, my latest tost places mo in tho position of claiming to bo capablo of increasing tho natural gro.vth of sheep wool to tho extent of an additional 23 per cent., without tho slightest injury to muscular tissues of the animal, or to tho hair bulb: tho effect is in quite tho other direction, stimulating both the muscular tissues and hair bulb. I am arranging for practical tests all oyer the wool-growing world beforo placing my achievement upon the market.
