The Wanganui Jockey Club's Winter meeting concluded to-day in beautiful weather. Tho attendance was very large and speculation brisk. A fino race up the straight resulted in Makara being declared a winner from Sanguinary by half a length, with Katua the same distance away third. Multiply made a fino run in the straight, finishing fourth. Grattan was fifth, and tho favourite, Ineuru, sixth. Time, lmin. 15 4-sscc.
