COOKING APPLES IN DEMAND.
So far as fruit is concerned, no material alterations in- values nro notieeablc this week, with perhaps one exception, viz. cooking apple?, which are at t JN very good doiuaiul. Lemons Irom MiUlura arrived per tho Melbourno steamer jostcrday, and owing to" tlip market being •empty realised very high prices. A few pineapples from Australia, this week arrived by the Willochra on Wednesday, and met a .strong market. This, months shipment of Uarolonga fruit arrncd last night, and will bo offered this morning.
