Id.; 240 heavyskinned four and six-tooth wethers, 16s. 5d.; 105. cull two-tooth ewes. 9s. 4d.; 157 two-tooth-wethers, 14s, 6d.; 105 cull empty eivcs, 45.; BE:caill ewes, .2s, lid. No cattle camo forward.
Messrs. Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report on their Waikanae sale as follows:— Wo submitted a good yarding of ©hcep end a fair, entry of cattlo to a. large attendanco of buyers. Bidding was brisk for all lines, and wo quitted practically tho wholo yarding of both sheep and* cattle. A nico lino of 24 fat bullocks, offered on account of Mr. H. D. Buchanan, Eold at £10 10s., while for 62 fat and forward wel.hors, sold on behalf of Messrs. M'Lean Bros., of Lindale, we got 17s. lid. Wo quote as follows:—Sheep: Woolly hoggets femall) 6s. 9d.; shorn hoggets. 6s. 6d.: e.m. breeding ewes, Us. to 13s. 6d.; two and four-tooth wethers, 145.. 15s. 3d., 15s. 4d„ 15s. 7il„ 15?.' 84.: fat and forward ewes, 13s. 4d.; fat and forward wethers. 17s. lid. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Woodville this week we offered an extra, heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle to a large attendance, Manawatu being strongly represented. Thero was demand for sheep, and we made a good clearance at late rates.' Cattle met a dull sole, and the bulk of the entry found buyers.
