ONE WAY OF ENDING IT. (By Telcrraph—Preps Association.) Auckland, May 22. Speaking at the Auckland Provincial Farmers' Union Conference the president (Mr. Lusk) referred to the unrest amongst workers as affecting the farming interests. He said: '"There appears to be no other sure way of protecting our industries from dislocation, ruinous delays and absolute blackmailing than by firm and positive agreement between all farmers personally to shear, and slaughter, ship, or unship whenever or wherever strikes occur, which threaten to damage our business." His. observations wero applauded.
