BOGUS BUYER SHOOTS DEALER. By Telegraph—PreßS Aesociatlon—OopyTjgit Paris, May 21. On the pretext that he wished to purchase a car, a man lured M. Dardenne, manager of a motor firm, to drive him out, and fired ten shots from o revolver, 'severely wounding M. Dardenne. The bogus purchaser then left the injured man, and bolted with tho car.
That nmch-talked-of- anction sale of bankrupt stock and traveller's samples, advertised by Messrs. Clark and Co., will eventuate to-day at 11 o'clock, at No. 55 Willis Street (opposite Herb. Price's). The stock is a very extensive one, and comprises almost every commodity required by householders, and includes drapery, bedding, cutlery, saddlery, mercery, boots, shoes, bicycles, guns, tinware, enamelware, etc. The goods are all new, and will be submitted absolutely without reserve. Householders therefore will have an excellent opportunity of securing their particular requirements at their awn prices. We are informed that tha stock is valued for insurance at .£BOOO, and from this aspect wo are assured that there is a vast variety of goods to choose from, and bargain-seekers arc advised to attend punctually. Messrs. Clark and Co. emphatically announce that they will waste no time, the whole of the stock must bo sold, and they intend to sell to the quickest bidder.*
