OBITUARY.
Many in Wellington, will regret to learn of the death in London on Wednesday last of Mrs. Grace, widow of the late Hon. Dr. Grace, and eldest daughter of the late Hon. J. Johnston. The deceased lady left Wellington some fourteen months ago to visit relatives in England, and was about to return when the fatal illness intervened. She was born in 18i2, and was married to Dr. Grace in 1868, and leaves a family of nine children, of whom Mrs. Lan Duncan, Mrs. F. G. Dalziell,. and Mr. Russell Grace remain in New Zealand. Mrs. Grace had .always •irterosted herself closoly with the work of the. Roman Catholic Church in the parish of Thorndon, and one of her gifts to the Churuh was to donato the two towers and the bell for the present church building, when the. Sacred Heart Church in Hill Street was built to replace St. Mary's Cathedral, destroyed by fire.
