ADDINGTON STOCK SALES. (Br Telojraph.—Preiss Association.) Christchurcli, May 21. At the Addington live stool; market there were larse.entries of all classes of sheep and fair supplier in other departments. There was a good attendance. Except for gocd young local ewes the market was caeier. Fat lambs were very irregular, but- averaged close up to last week's rates. Fat eheep were firm at last week's rates. Fat cattlo met with a draccing sale, but there was'no change of values. Fat pigs were Ta.ther firmer. Store sheep—Bapo lambs made 10s. 6d. to 13s. Gd.; ratares. Bs. 6d. to 10s. 3d.; cwo lambs, 13s. sd. to 155.; young ewes, 14s. to 205.; sound-mouth, lCis. 3d. to 135.; failing mouth, 9s. 6d. to 10s. 9d.: wethers, 13a to 17s. lid. BURNSIDE STOCK MARKET. Duncriin, May 21. At Burnside market to-day 190 fat- cattlo were yarded, consisting principally of cowfl and lieifers of medium quality. • At t.ho commencement- of the sale prices wero ■about 30s. per head betier than those ruling last v;cek, but as the sale progressed competition became easier, and prices decline:! to a. level of lost week's. Quota-tions-Best bullocks, £10 16?. to £11 10s.; extra, lo £12 17s. 6d.; medium, £9 to £9 10s.: inferior, £7 10s. to £8 5?.; best cows and heifers, .£8 to £8 155.; extra, £9 10s.: medium. £6 10s. to £7; inferior, £5 to £5 15s. Pot shcep-2780 penned, Ponsietinß principally of medium quality.' Prices for prime wethers and owes were a shade firmer than those ruling last week, but medium and inferior flicep were easier. Best wethers, £1 4s. to £1 65.; extra, to £1 95.: medium, £1 to £1 la; inferior, 18s. to 195.; best ewes. £1 2s. to £1 45.; extra, £1 f,--.; medium, 17s. to 18s.; inferior, lis. 6d. to 13s. Fat lambs —3756 penned. Tho majority were of medium quality and prices were a shade easier than last week's rates.
