CHEESE CASES.
Commenting 011 tfe .fact .that. cheesa ( crates are gradually getting more uniform as nearly all the factories havo discarded the smaller lioops and adopted the modern large size, tho annual report of tho South Island Dairy Association says:— "It would lie a good thing if the association could contract with a sawmill companv to make a uniform crate,.to M wulariv distributed to tho factories in proper time for seasoning and drying, and with three-quarter inch centres, and jnade and branded with each factory s name properly. At present the ni<j brand is good, but the impress hrand generally is far from satisfactory. J his matter is worth consideration, as such a contract as suggested could bo made with a sawmill company, and probably this would be more feasible than, a factory for making crates and boxes as omil mid run by the Taraiuiki factories at j-il-tliam."
