TRAINING OPERATIONS,

(By Telegraph.—Prots Association.) Wantjanui, Slav 17. It was line this morning for training operations, and some interesting work was done. ,', . '■ Antarctic covered a round at half-pace, anil then picked up Allure and Serenity, and had t'lie best of them at tlio cud of a fast round. Roosevelt sprinted half a mile attractively. ; Serviceable work was done by Watchchain, Armagh, Okaiahau, Loclovood, Glenfern, Aruakc, and several others. 1 Dorando and Rebel gave a good display over the big fences,. going twice round, both jumping splendidly. Bercola and Bismarck both jumped well in the first round over country, but tlio latter fall on the second circuit. B.>rcola ran off. The pair wero remounted and finished the journey. Nyland was altogether too fast for Eangiinaru over tlio littlo sticks.
