REPORTED MISHAP TO A LINER.
FRUITLESS SEARCH. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright I London, May 15. In connection ! with the reported wreck of one of the Union Castle liners near Dakar, French Senegal, the Union Castle Company reports that' the Konihvortli Castle is safe. The cruiser Forte's search has proved fruitless, and it is now certain that the wreck .of the French steamer Conda, which ran ashore in that vicinity about ten years ago, has been mistaken for that of another vessel.
