THE INVESTIGATION. (By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) Wanganui, May lfi. In connection with tho investigation which is to bo held into tho general workins °f " le Wangamti River Service, Mr. A. P. Dryclcn (cliief postmaster ot Wellington), Mr. C. A. Piper (railway (radio manager), and Mr. T. N. Drodcriclc (Commissioner of Crown Lands, Wellington) have arrived in Wanganui to malic tlio necessary iuqiiirios. They will probably leavo for Taumarnnui on Monday and journey down the river from Tanmarumii taking'cvidcnco anil collecting tho necessary information afl'eeting their mission; They will return to Wanganui about. Thursday next and complete their investigation here before, returning to Wellington.
