'K LABOURER'S BANKRUPTCY. An adjourned meeting of the creditors rif John Heta Clarke, labourer, of Lower JTiltt, was held before tho Official Assignee (Mr. A- Simpson) yesterday. Mr. ,V. B. The bankrupt was closely ctuostioneu pith regard to his habits, and his interest [u horse racing. He said that lie could Kiake no offer to his creditors at. present, i'or about three, months he had been wirning i'f.'lfls: a week, and had handed the money to his wife. Tlio Assignee then said Hint the bankrupt oug'St to be able to make some kind t>f an oll'er. lie was not satisfied with (Imposition of affairs. The meeting would ne adjourned sine die, and meanwhile the fiankrnot. could make an offer if ho found himself in (ho position to do so, otherwise the case would go to Court.
