EUGENICS.
There was ft poor attendance at last night's meeting of tho Wellington Eugenics Education Society, only eight perEons being present. Professor" H. B. Kirk occupied the chair. ' Tho report (already.published) and tho "balance-sheet were adopled. In a brief address to the meeting, the ■chairman indicated that tho programme for tho winter would include several .interesting lectures. It had also been suggested that ihero' should bo addresses nt Sunday evening 'meetings, when ample scope would be given for discussion. For the'ensuing year the council elected was as follows:—Sir Robert Stout, Sir John Findlny, the Rev. AV. .Tcllie, Professor 11. B. Kirk, TJr. J. M. .Mason. Dr. n. Hardwieke-Smith, Dr. Platts-Mills, Dr. Ila.r, Miss W. England, Miss p. Myers, Mrs. A. R. Atkin-an. .Messrs. C. B. Morismi, K.C., A. ll.aniiltou._F. G. A. Stuckey, E. honucdy, F. W. Frankland. D. M'Larcu, T. King, J. S. Teunent, and liockel.
