In the Houso of Commons, replying to Mr. Bonar law (Leader of the Opposition), Mr. Asquitli said there would only be the formal committee stago on tho Home Rule, "Welsh Church Disestablishment, and Scottish Temperance Bills. Tho •usual procedure would be ivasto of time, since any amendments would destroy the identity of the Bills. Mr. Bonar Law retorted: "Then our discussion will be a complete farce." Mr. Birrell (Chief Secretary for Ireland), 31r. M'Kenna. (Home Secretary), and Mr. TJre (Lord Advocato for Scotland) then reintroduced the three Bills which were not discussed. ULSTER'S RESISTANCE. London, May 7. The newspapers announce that Sir Edward Carson, M.P., is going to Belfast, and that ho will relinquish his legal work for three months to be free to organise tho resistance to Homo Rule.
