A party of the South Waziristan Militia, whilo searching for the Ghazni outlaws who attacked a detachmont of the 72nd Punjabis, under Colonel Ratney, and killed three Sikh sepoys, fired on six armed men who had refused to halt. A party of Afghan outlaws, hearing tho firing, volleyed. Eveutually tho militia routed tho enemy. Ono sepoy was killed and threo wounded. The enemy had three men wounded.
