The Gisborne Sheep Farmers' Frozen Meat Company has decided to form an auxiliary company with a capital of £150,000 to tako up commercial and financial business undertaken by nil established mercantile houses. The first subscription is limited to 40.0C0 shares to be open to tho public but preference to be civen to bona-fido farmers. GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKETS. Oamaru, May 4. Tho business in wheat has been on c. small scale during tho week, owing to farmers holding back. The bull; of the business in Velvet has been done at 4s. Qjcl. net, at country stations, but 4s. Id. net has been given with Fhort railage. Redcliaffi has moved upwards, and from 3s. Bd. to 3s. 9d. has ruled.
