ANNIVERSARY SERVICE.

Tho seventy-first anniversary of tho Terrace Congregational Church was celebrated yesterday, special services being held throughout the day. In the morning there was a largo congregation; present, and the choir was also fully represented. The Eev. Mr. lleed Glasson, conducted tho morning servieo and took for his sermon, Rovelation 11, verso 10: "Be ye faithful unto death and I will give vou a crown of life." In tho course of his sermon Mr. Glasson dealt .with the qualities necessary for those engaged in church work, viz.: faithfulness and steadiness. After the morning service a communion service was held and was largely attended. The evening service was conducted by tlio Kev. W. Shirer, of St. James's Presbyterian Church, Newtown. And again the congregation was large. The visiting minister gave an appropriate sermon. Tho anniversary tea and' public mcotiugs are to bo held on Tuesday evening.
