Tho South Coast miners aro much disappointed with the amount raised for tho support of the strikers—only .£l3oo—but are loud in praise of the prompt and substantial assistance from New Zealand unionists. BOILERMAKERS CALLED OUT. Sydney, April 30. The boilermakers employed at Cockatoo Island Dock liave beem called out. The boilermakers decline to work with imported shipwrights under what they claim are not Australian conditions. STATE FERRY SERVICE. Sydney, April 30. Cabinet is considering tho matter of establishing a State ferry to North Sydney. Ministers state that tho plans aro not yet matured. The Ferry Companies' leases of the wharves at Circular Quay expire at the end of May. A NATIONAL UNION. London, April 2D. A conference of delegates of tho Scottish Miners* Federation approved tho principle of tho establishment of a National Union, of Scottish miners. Consideration of the rules was postponed for a month.
