■ _$ THE REFERENDA CAMPAIGN. ly Teleeraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, April 30. Mr. Fisher, ,tho Federal Primo Minister, addressed'a big Federal campaign meeting in the Town Hall. He declared that if the referenda were rejected the Government still intended to proceed with revision of the tariff,■' in order to give effective protection to Australian industries.
Mr. M'Gowen, the State Premier, who was previously a strong opponent, has declared himself in favour of the referenda.
