TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially Written for The Dominion.] WEDNESDAY. Multon Broth. Stewed Ox-tail. Potatoes. Artichokes. Prime Tnrt. PRUNE TART. One ounce short crust, Alb. prunes, ioz. loaf sugar, J pint water, thin rind of half lemon. Put sugar, water, and lemon on to boil, when boiling add prunes, cook gently till soft, pour out to cool, cut short crust in two pieces, one a littlo larger than the other;, roll the larger piece out a little larger than the tin, which has previously been greased; line tin with pastry and wet round edge of undercrust; put primes in, roll out the other piece ol' crusts and lay on over the prunes, trim round tho edge and pinch together, glaze over with white of egg or water and sugar. Bako in a hot oven 15 minutes, and then moderate the heat, and bake another 15 minutes.
