It contains an unusual inducenioiit to her graiutsons who arc Iho {Iron of Lord Curr.on, tho of Sufiolk, and Colonel Colin Campbell to spend some of their time in the United States. "While I have deemed it best,' says the will, "to place the legacies to my daughters in their unrestricted control. I desire to express tlie wish that they will so administer their property that tho principal shall be transmitted to their posterity undiminished by extravnganeo or neglect, to be a heritage for their children and their children's children/' Mrs. Letter's son Joseph gets the Loiter homo on Dupont Circle, which is one of the most magnificent residences in Washington. He and his sisters share the inheritance, which contains real estate in Chicago and Washington and investments in American railways and Industrials. Each grandchild is left ,£311,000 in trust.
