EXTRA PLAYING GROUND AT NEWTOWN I'iYHK. Owing to tho difficulty in satisfying the wants of the largo number of atlilelio bodies in this city at tho present timo, tho chairman of the Reserves Committee (Councillor Frost) has been looking round to see if at least 0110 more playing area can bo provided, and Ims found that by making a rearrangement a third grounil can bo mado available at Newtown l'arlc. Tho 'position will then' 1* as follow, t--The Rugby Union and Hockey Association have been allotted_ one ground each at Newtown Park. Tin? Rugby Leaguo footballers were very anions to have a ground at Newtown Park, but tho committee could not seo their way to provide them with a permanent groutid there, but under this rearrangement of the ground it may bo pfissiblo to give them this, extra ami in lion of tho ground already allotted to them at Wukehold Park.
