MISHAF WITH'BLANK CAETEIBGE. (By Megrftpli—Press Association,)Dannevirko, April 25. • Tho Oringi camp was brought to a conclusion to-day when tho troops had a field day. Early in tho morning they left camp to drive out an imaginary pnemy south of Oringi and operations wero concluded at noon. Tho attackers went .out in extended order covering a large tract of ground and did their work effectively for reoruits. General Godley spent tho morning in watohing tho field operations and the afternoon in camp inspection. The General considered the work of tho men very good considering that it was their first .attempt at anything of the kind. Ha was also pleased at tho general condition and arrangement of tho camp which ho considered one of the bret in this respect held in New Zealand. Ho returns to Wellington to-morrow. All Territorials will bo out of camp'and on tlieir way homo by 2.30 to-morrow. During the operations in tho morning a Gisborno Territorial named Norman Ingram, accidentaly discharged a blank cartridge into ono hand, tho wad l remaining embedded in tho flesh. Ifo was tftken to the Dannevirke Hospitnl. Charles Solo and James Murcott, of- New Plymouth, wero also taken there suffering from chest complaints. Seven of tiioso previously in tho institution left to-day. , Tho others are progressing splendidly.
