CHURCH MEETING

ST.'MICHAEL'S, KELBURNE. An important alteration was made by rescinding tho constitution originally framed, and substituting a coiiHtihition, bringing Kelburne into lino with subdistricts of parochial districts. The vicar appointed Mr. 1?. T. Tosswill as his churchwarden, and Mr. H. M. Stephens was elected people's warden. The following vestrymen were elected:— Messrs. .T. F. Collins. G. N. Sturtevant, V. B. Willis, TV T. R. .Tohnsion, T. Jlilligan, 'John Cook, Gerald Bel), G. W. Longhurst, 1?. Pasley, and J. Eoberyj lion, auditor, Mr. ,T. M. Butt. Tho meeting passed a resolution pledging itself to support the objective of the Bible-in-State-Sohools League, .and requesting that a referendum of tho whole people of the Dominion be taken to decide the question.
