Arrangements for the National Dairy Show aro Hearing completion. "His Excellency the Governor /has intimated his intention of tains present, to open the exhibition, as well as the fine new front and annexe to the Exhibition Halls. The secretary states that there, has been a rush on the space accommodation, and at the present time there are more applications than can be well satisfied. A meeting of the Poultry Committee was held last Friday evening to make arrangements for the show, and opinions of members seem to agree that more than 1000 entries willbo forthcoming. The lat Stock Show is promising '■well, and the chairman of this committee has got an enthusiastic' band round him. It has been decided to houso the cattle in tho .stalls used at tho spring show and the sheep in tho new Wheeler Memorial Pavilion.

. Many of the dairy machinery exhibitors (who have for several years been standing out) have again decided' to show, and the bulk of the milking machines being offered to tho public will be on view. In addition to the National Dairy Asociation and New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers' Conferences, the New Zealand Romney-Marsh Breeders', New Zealand Jersey Breeders', Now Zealand Hereford Breeders', New Zealand Holstein Breeders', New. Zealand . Lincoln Breeders', New Zealand Ayrshire Breeders', and New> Zealand Clydesdale Breeders' Associations will all bo foregathering in Palmerston North during the show. The North Island Poultry Association also contemplate holding their annual meeting at Winter show time, and intending visitors are advised to look head and sco that their lodging 1 is assured. There are several now divisions this year, includihg fat stock, art needlework, and amateur photography, and the secretary states that if the demand for schedules is. my criterion, the benches and' walls will be more than covered.
