Andro Soudy, when lie quitted the cell on tile way lo tlio guillotine, shouted: "An revoir." Raymond Callemin stood.trembling and staring dazedly at tlio crowd. At last he exclaimed: "This is a beautiful death for a man." LEtienne Monier merely ejaculated: "Good-bye.'' The three executions were over in four an'd a half minutes. MONIER'S STRANGE BEQUESTS. (Rec. April 23, 0.5 a.m.) • Paris, April 22. Linc3 of Guards barred alf tho 6treets leading,to tho prison to prevent any attempt at rescue. Monier bequeathed a number of philosophical works to the Municipal Library, and his revolver to the Museum, with the instructions that "Thou sllalt not kill" should be engraved on tho butt. ;
