-* THBEE EEGIMENTS UNDER CANVAS, During tho present week a number of territorials who have been required to make up "their deficiencies in respect' to, parades have been attending what is' known in .tho citizen army' as" a "stragglers' camp" at Oriligi.s 'J'o-dny the Wellington- InfantrfTßrigade, -which, includes tho two ■ battalions of-tho 9th (Wellington East Coast) Hegiment, the 7th: (Wellington West Coast) Regiment, and tho ■ 11th (Tavanaki) R-egiment.,, Will go into camp for a' week, tho total iiiimbcr. under canvas'running into something like 4000 men of all ranks. ' The syllabus of instruction will' include company training—attack,. outposts, defence, construction of fire . trenches,' etc., advance, flank, and rear guards, and battalion training. On Friday, April 1!5, there will bo a brigade field day, followed by brigade sports. Each unit will 'establish a Postal tent and place tho Tegimental letter-carrier in charge of it. Officers and men aro enjoined to request their friends to put their company and regiment on- all parcels addressed to them. The General Officer Commanding (MajorGeneral Godloy) has issued a general order directing that officers, n.c.o.'s, and men in uniform going to and from camp must not enter public drinking bars. No offi.cer, n.c.0., or. man .is to bring alcoholio liquor into camp under any circumstances whatever. Anybody found in tho possession of liquor is to be immediately placed under arrest. . The Wellington Mounted Rifles Brigade will go into camp at Oringi on May 5, and leave on May 17. Tho brigade wi 1 consist of:—Queen Alexandra's 2nd (Wellington West Coast) Mounted Rifles.
