BOROUGH VOTERS.
NUMBERS ON THE ROLLS. Whother it is that the purging of some of tho borough rolls lias been attended to more : conscientiously in some cases than others, or that tho tide of settlement' has flowed ia one direction and ebbed in another, tho fact remains that there are some curious fluctuations in the numbers of the municipal electors' rolls of the boroughs hi the neighbourhood of tho city ns compared with those of two years ago. It will bo noted from the following figures that whereas the numbers ot voters in Eastbourne and Minimal' havo substantially increased, those in Onslow and ICarori havo actually decreased. The numbers on tho rolls (including tho sup< plemeutary rolls) are:— ' . 1911. 1913. ■ Karori ... 1,212 1,033 Miramar 1,387 1,431 Eastbourne 804 877 Onslow 1,210 1,105 Onslow is the only borough in tho vicinity of Wellington which is divided into wards, and has sectional representation. The numbers of voters of tho different wards are as follow :— 1911. 1013. Khaudallah 419 423 Ngaio 45a . m Kaiwarra ; 311 278 The number of voters in tho special rating area entitled to vote upon tho waterscrvico loan poll, to bo taken on election day by tho Onslow Borough Council, ia 905. .
