Thi! hearing of the case in which Miss Hageby, a well-known anti-vivisectionist, is suing Dr. Saleeby, tho eugenist and writer on medical subjects, and the "Pall Mall Gazette" for alleged libel, in accusing.her of conducting a campaign of falsehood, was continued. Many leading surgeons testified to tho value of vivisection, and combated Miss Hageby's denunciation of the serum treatuienl. They pointed out that Professor Pas'uMir's discoveries had effected a great saving of life.
