COUNCIL ADOPTS NEW SCALE. A new scale of cab fares for the city was adopted by tho City Council last 'light. No. 2 would be hounded on the north by tho southern boundary of No. 1 on the south by a lino drawn from the original city boundary through Hall mid Mem Streets. No. 3 will be the remainder .of the city within the. original city boundaries. / Special fares are provided for according to the number of passengers and tho timo of the day. 3y another provision tho hirer is entitled to tho exclusive uso of a cab during such hiring, and it is au offence for tha driver of a cab, which shall havo le«n hired, to permit other passengers to be carried without the consent of the hirer.
